Having an engaged team boosts the members' engagement and ensure a supportive, team-oriented work environment. But it's not an easy task to get people to be engaged in their teams. As an HR, what can you do to create a change? The answer is to get team members to be invested in their teams, and here are some ideas to do so: ✔️Encourage team leaders to create duties requiring teamwork. Ask leaders to encourage their members to work collaboratively. ✔️Encourage team leaders to acknowledge and celebrate acts of teamwork, no matter how big or small. They can bring those up during a team meeting to further encourage teamwork. ✔️Encourage team leaders to reward teamwork and team output through coworkers appreciation programs. It doesn't have to be grand, just a simple thank you note works. ✔️Encourage team leaders to work alongside their teams to develop a sense of shared values and purpose. This also creates bonding opportunities for leaders to better know the members and what's happening in the team. ✔️Encourage team leaders and team members to think about what's good from a team perspective.
